DES KAISERS NEUE KLEIDER 6+
Wallende Kleider, fließende Tücher, Samt und Seide – der Kaiser liebt es, sich in die prächtigsten Stoffe zu kleiden und der Welt seinen Reichtum zu präsentieren. Da ist es tatsächlich kein Wunder, dass sich zwei Betrüger diese Leidenschaft zunutze machen. Unverblümt kommen sie in die Stadt, geben sich als Schneider und Weber aus und versprechen dem
Kaiser die außergewöhnlichsten Kleider, die er je gesehen habe.
Und nicht nur, dass die Farben und die Stoffe ungewöhnlich schön wären, so besäßen die
Kleider noch dazu die wunderbare Eigenschaft, für jeden Menschen unsichtbar zu sein, der für sein Amt nicht tauge oder der unverzeihlich dumm sei. Angestachelt von der fixen
Idee, neben einem neuen Gewand auch noch das ganze Hofvolk auf dem Prüfstand zu wissen, lässt der Kaiser den beiden Betrügern die teuersten Stoffe und Fäden zukommen. Und so sitzen sie wochenlang vor dem leeren Webstuhl, suggerieren Geschäftigkeit und wähnen sich in Sicherheit – denn niemand aus dem ganzen Hofstaat möchte sich die
Blöße geben.
Ungehindert stolziert der Kaiser schließlich in seinem nicht vorhandenen Gewand bei einer Prozession vor seinem Volk. Erst der Kindermund offenbart schließlich das Offensichtliche. Das Kunstmärchen von Hans Christian Andersen aus dem Jahr 1837 erzählt, wie leicht die Mächtigen aus Angst vor Machtverlust korrumpierbar sind und, dass es immer
Mutige braucht die sich trauen, das Unumgängliche auszusprechen.
