TOM GAEBEL A SWINGING AFFAIR
Tom Gaebel ist der Mann für die große Bühne und für die großen Songs. Seit seinem Durchbruch 2005 bei »TV Total« sang er sich als moderner Crooner in der Tradition Frank Sinatras schnell in die Herzen seines Publikums, das ihn seit vielen Jahren, acht Alben und zahlreichen Konzerten im In- und Ausland begleitet.
Sein Repertoire ist seither stetig gewachsen. Tom Gaebel hat sich neben Sinatra auch vielen anderen Klassikern gewidmet, hat James Bond besungen und gleich zwei Weihnachtsalben aufgenommen – und nicht zuletzt hat er seine ganz eigenen Lieder geschrieben. Songs, die seine musikalische Leidenschaft für die Vergangenheit widerspiegeln, für eine Zeit, als die Musik noch ebenso elegant war wie die Musiker, die sie spielten - die Ära des GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK. Diese Blütezeit der amerikanischen Unterhaltungsmusik von den 30er bis in die 50er Jahre brachte unvergessliche Songs hervor, geschaffen von Komponisten wie George Gershwin, Cole Porter und Johnny Mercer und interpretiert von Größen wie Ella Fitzgerald oder Nat King Cole.
